Blackpool Hosts a Fabulous Season Of Shows in 2014

Blackpool is famous for its entertainment especially when it comes to staging shows. Over the decades many stars have graced the stages of Blackpool either in theatres along the piers, at the Pleasure Beach Arena, while let’s not forget the many stars who have appeared at the famous Winter Gardens! Here we take a look at what visitors can expect to see in terms of shows, stars and productions in 2014.

Mamma Mia

This fabulously uplifting musical can be seen in Blackpool’s Winter Garden’s Theatre from June through to 14th September 2014. Those of us who love the music of ABBA will not want to miss this superb musical extravaganza as the story is written around many of the groups most famous and popular songs. Running from July to September Hot Ice is one of the best shows in town and should not be missed when staying in Blackpool. The show is staged at the Pleasure Beach Arena and features over twenty eight international ice skaters whose dancing on ice is simply amazing. Hot Ice features afternoon matinee shows and evening performances with prices starting at £13.00 per ticket. Blackpool Tower Circus

The Blackpool Tower Circus has been a popular show in Blackpool for decades with adults and children alike leaving with happy memories of clowns, acrobats and the like putting on amazing performances. In 2014 “Mooky Goes to Hollywood” (A Circus Clown) runs from April to November at the Tower Circus along with all the usual amazing acts that culminate in the famous water finale that I remember so well from my own childhood visiting here! Viva Blackpool has yet another spectacular summer season show for visitors to Blackpool to enjoy with fabulous singers and gorgeous showgirls here to entertain for three fun filled hours.
